The "RMCOFDM" (Coded Orthogonal Frequency Divisional Multiplexing) microwave is a digital transmission system which has a higher performance capability over conventional transmission techniques and has brought a new level of video delivery coupled with functionality not previously seen.

All A.T.S.I. COFDM products are available in 1.3GHz, 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz versions in all the licence free frequencies ; S-Band and other governmental specific versions are available to approved bodies and departments.

The inherent multiple path capability of COFDM makes the technology ideal for Rapid Deployment CCTV systems as a signal path maybe non-line-of-sight (NLOS), this simplifies the process of positioning equipment and establishing signal paths. The signal range is increased with COFDM over analogue transmission, given a line-of-sight between the transmitter and receiver it is possible to achieve greater distances.
